As part of North Highland’s “Day of Giving Back” event this month, the Houston office partnered with Alliance and Plant It Forward to help economically disadvantaged refugees achieve their goals of self-sufficiency and improve their quality of life. Through the event, more than 200 summer-themed welcome bags for Alliance were distributed among refugee teens and children and four large signs were created for Plant It Forward to use at their farmers markets.
