On March 23, Andy Moose, North Highland VP and Executive Team Member of QC FinTech, moderated a panel discussion at the North Carolina Technology Association’s Tech Talk Live event titled The Future of FinTech. Panelists from the Charlotte, NC area included Michael Praegar, CEO/Founder of AvidXchange, Abhishek Mehta, CEO of Tresata, and Jonathan Rowe, CMO of nCino. The panelists discussed a variety of topics surrounding the rise of financial technology (fintech), including what is currently disrupting and reshaping the finance industry, why North Carolina is a hub for this rapidly growing tech cluster, trends in the marketplace, potential opportunities and obstacles and what is on the horizon for the future of the sector.
Andy added North Highland’s insights to the panel conversation by positioning the firm’s expertise in data-driven insights that improve Customer Experience (CX) in fintech. A primary topic of conversation throughout the panel discussion, CX permeates banking, mobile and other fintech categories as ongoing customer feedback is critical to improving products and services. Shining a light on their own business needs, the panelists noted the importance of strong counsel around recruitment, training and keeping top talent engaged for long-term employment.
