North Highland At SIA CWS Summit 2018

Angela Navarro, Senior Vice President of Operations, will be participating in a panel for the Staffing Industry Analysis (SIA) CWS Summit in Dallas, TX. The panel, hosted by TalentWave, will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 4 p.m. and is titled “Confronting the Fear of Progress: Leveraging Compliance Strategies to Spark Innovation.” This interactive session is part of the Strategy and Operations track at the summit and will showcase real-world solutions from the panel.

The panel will focus on how organizations have traditionally considered program compliances a necessary evil and something to be tolerated in order to avoid trouble and minimize risk. Meanwhile, the rise of internal talent pools, direct sourcing and other non-traditional forms of contingent labor have been working in parallel to create opportunities to design innovative programs. Now, making sure organizations are building a compliant strategy from the ground-up has never been more important.

Angela will discuss how she faced her own organizational fears of progress and how she confronted these challenges head-on to minimize risk and maximize innovation to take talent innovation programs to the next level. North Highland was invited by TalentWave to participate in the panel because of the firm’s progressive approach to compliance strategies around talent engagement, with Angela being the driving force and sponsor behind this game-changing initiative at North Highland.

The annual CWS Summit is the largest peer-to-peer networking event for contingent workforce professionals.
