We’re proud to announce that North Highland was ‘Highly Commended’ in the Social Value category at the 2026 Management Consultancies Association (MCA) Awards for its pro bono work with Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC). This is a special recognition given to finalists whose work was judged to be of exceptionally high quality, merit, and impact. The firm was also named a finalist in the People and Leadership category for its work with Haleon.

The Social Value category recognises work that improves economic, social or wellbeing outcomes for communities and wider society. People and Leadership recognises client work that delivers successful people-related initiatives, from leadership and culture change to training and talent management. More than 50 independent judges reviewed every entry blind, with no knowledge of the submitting firm.

SRtRC, the UK's leading anti-racism education charity, struggled to evidence the full impact of its work to funders and policymakers. In six weeks, North Highland co-created an impact measurement system that brings data from every UK region together and saves the team more than eight hours of admin each month.

“The achievements of the North Highland team within just six weeks helped us to significantly improve what took us years to develop on our own.” –Ged Grebby, Chief Executive, Show Racism the Red Card

Anthony Shaw, Global CEO for North Highland, said:

"Being recognised for the projects with Show Racism the Red Card and Haleon is something which we’re very proud of. Both pieces of work focused on delivering lasting impact and leaving the client organisations in a stronger position. They are real examples of what great partnerships can achieve."

Judges scored the work without knowing who submitted it, so the recognition rests on what changed for the clients. SRtRC now has its impact evidence in one place for funders and policymakers. Haleon's R&D teams have a learning model they can keep running themselves.
