Updated March 28, 2026
The March 2026 update to NH360 Portfolio Insights 7 introduces a new Risks & issues card on the home page, financial custom fields, and various other improvements.
Let’s review each of these updates.
Risks & issues home page card
The new Risks & issues card on the Home page provides users with a consolidated view of all risks and issues assigned to them or that they own across the entire portfolio. Users can view key details for each risk or issue directly within the card's grid and click on any item's name to edit the item directly in a dialog, without navigating away from the Home page. This enhancement streamlines risk and issue management by eliminating the need to navigate through multiple entities to track and update items, bringing critical information directly to users where they start their day.
Financial custom fields
Financial custom fields enable users to capture non-financial metadata, such as comments or accounting codes, directly within financial grids alongside budget, forecast, and actual financial values. Financial custom fields support multiple data types, including text, dates, numbers, flags, and option sets. When multiple financial dimensions are configured, each custom field can capture distinct values for each financial dimension. Financial custom fields are configured in Settings and can be added to any Financials form, where they appear as columns in the grid between financial categories and time-phased values.
Other improvements
This update includes various improvements and refinements that polish the product and improve the user experience.
- Added support for assigning each risk and issue to multiple users.
- Added support for multi-select resource picker and user picker custom fields for risk registers and issue logs.
- Risks can now be assigned a fifth probability value, “Negligible (5%)”.
- Added support for Hyperlink fields in Portfolios.
- The “History” button is now available for entities that do not use entity lifecycles. A new permission, “View entity history”, controls whether users can see the “History” button in the context of an entity to access the entity history dialog.
- Added a control to toggle the sort order of entities in the roadmap within the Plan view of Portfolio Analysis.
- Introduced all-new versions of multiple Settings pages, including the Fields, Financial dimensions, Fiscal periods, and Manage entity lifecycles pages.
- The OData API now reports which users created and modified each milestone and when.
- Navigation links can now be moved into, out of, and between groups.
- On the Milestones form type, fixed an issue with the “Committed date” field being set improperly when completing milestones.
- Sort orders for numeric fields in Portfolios are correctly labeled as Ascending and Descending.
- Fixed a display issue with the Milestones form type in read-only mode.
- Ensured that financial aggregation cannot be toggled on a relationship when the user does not have edit permission for relationships for the selected entity.
As always, various other fixes have been applied to this release, improving the application's performance, security, and consistency.
