Ahmed Nawaz is a Managing Director at North Highland in the firm’s Middle East practice, supporting complex transformation and execution programs across the Middle East. Ahmed brings nearly 20 years of experience delivering large-scale operating model, enterprise transformation, digital and shared services programs across sovereign institutions, public sector entities, and complex multi-entity groups.
Before joining North Highland, Ahmed held senior leadership roles within two Middle Eastern sovereign wealth funds, where he built, scaled, and commercialized group-wide shared services, incubators, and transformation platforms. His work supported hundreds of portfolio companies, joint ventures, and national initiatives across sectors including aviation, infrastructure, digital and technology, real estate, healthcare, gaming, and financial services.
Ahmed has deep experience in post-merger integration, carve-outs, company build and scale-up, and the design of enterprise operating models capable of supporting rapid growth. He has led large, multi-disciplinary teams and worked closely with boards, governors, and C-suite leaders to deliver complex change in high-stakes environments.
At North Highland, Ahmed works with client boards and executive teams on operating model transformation, digital & enterprise change, transformation governance, and execution assurance, bringing a practitioner’s perspective.
