Elena Villar is a professional with experience in the field of business management, strategic planning and budget forecast. She graduated from the MBA program of IE Business School, one of the most prestigious business schools in Europe, in 2001. During her training, she acquired knowledge and skills in areas such as leadership, innovation, marketing, and finance. She joined Telefónica twenty years ago and she had an active role in international control and CFO. She has a wide experience in the European markets of Germany and the United Kingdom. Nowadays, she is the Global Director of Purchasing & Special Projects of Telefónica Tech where she leads the projects related to digital transformation and inorganic growth. Elena is also a dedicated professional that is enthusiastic about mentoring women within Telefónica Tech. Elena is passionate about continuous learning and personal development. She likes to keep up to date with the trends and challenges of the business world, as well as the opportunities offered by technology. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and practicing sports in her free time.
