Peter leads North Highland's global Banking and Payments work from our Charlotte office. He has spent more than 30 years in financial services, on merger integration, cards and payments, divestiture execution, and payment architecture modernization for institutions across the US, Canada, and the UK. On modernization programs he works the sequencing question: which capabilities a bank builds first, so the near-term work compounds instead of stranding. He sets standards for his teams rather than rules, a habit he traces to his college coach, Mike Krzyzewski.
