We’re pleased to announce the availability of NH360Enterprise Connect v4.2. We strongly recommend that you validate these updates once they become available.
Here is a list of changes that will be introduced with this update:
New Features
This update brings a new feature for our users, the Enterprise Architecture metamodel located on the left-hand navigation ribbon. A metamodel is a high-level framework that defines the Object Types, relationships and constraints for creating organizational interactions. It acts as a blueprint for building models by specifying what types of objects can exist and how they can be related, thereby ensuring consistency and a common understanding across different views of an enterprise's architecture.
- Unified Management Interface: Manage custom object types and their associations conveniently in a single, centralized section for streamlined workflow.
- Enhanced User Experience: Enjoy a redesigned, more intuitive interface when working with Object Types and Association Types.
- Dual View Options: Access two distinct views for each object type, giving you flexibility to explore and manage associations in the way that works best for your task.
- Visual Graph View: Gain quick insights into each object type through a new graphical representation that displays relationships and information in an easy-to-understand visual format.
Improvements
Repository
- Experience smarter validation checks when saving object names, helping catch errors early and maintain data quality.
- State deletion now includes enhanced validation to prevent accidental removal of States actively used in Viewpoints.
- Associations now properly remove themselves when BPMN or Value Stream models are deleted from the repository, maintaining data integrity.
- Resolved naming inconsistencies that could occur when renaming objects linked to models, ensuring accuracy across your repository.
Modeling
- Fixed an issue where hierarchical objects incorrectly appeared on the canvas when only associated objects were selected.
- Resolved a problem that previously allowed creating associations with deleted objects, preventing data inconsistencies.
- Successfully delete multiple objects at once on Value Stream Maps without encountering errors.
- Resolved errors when saving or editing Customer Journey concepts for a smoother modeling experience.
- Eliminated diagram corruption issues when working with multiple Manual Tasks, ensuring your BPMN models remain intact.
