Matt Hawkes has been in the industry for the last 25+ years and now brings his talent and energy to the leadership team of North Highland. Matt is a servant leader who believes in empowering teams by using the Agile process to build innovative solutions to the most complex problems. Over several years, Matt has become well versed in all three major cloud providers (AWS, Google, and Azure) and more importantly has a proven track record of building teams that can work "Any project, Any Language Any Time".

Matt is a strong believer in DORA metrics and using tools in the development stack to measure the efficiency of engineering teams overall. He can work down to the code level and isn't afraid to dig in and get his hands dirty if needed. Though his background is mainly built on the foundations of Java, he has successfully run large .NET core teams as well. In addition, Matt has run product at several stops and is able to leverage that experience when needed. He is also a certified JIRA ninja and has written many tools to help articulate roadmaps to the executive level.
