NH360 Portfolio Insights v6.19

We’re pleased to announce the availability of NH360 Portfolio Insights v6.19 – Product Update 19 (PU19). Product Updates include all previously released public updates and private hotfixes. We strongly recommend that any patch and release is validated in a non-production environment first before being applied to production environments.

Here is a list of changes that will be introduced with this update:

New Feature: Enhanced option set selection and navigation

This release enhances how users interact with complex option sets, delivering powerful search and navigation capabilities that improve efficiency when working with extensive selection lists and multi-level hierarchies. These enhancements provide intuitive ways to quickly locate and select the precise options needed.

• The new setting, Allow filtering available values by typing into the field, introduces dynamic search functionality for option-set fields, enabling users to instantly narrow down choices by simply typing a search term into the field.
• The new setting, Collapse all parents of unselected options, streamlines hierarchical option-set navigation by providing a clean, focused view that displays only relevant choices and reduces visual complexity.

Roadmaps

• The Milestones form saving process now correctly preserves in-line updated milestone names when a second milestone field value is updated for the same milestone.
• Board roadmaps now properly resize column headers when header labels include special characters.

Resources

• New Hide Named Resources option in the Add Resource dialog filters search results to show only generic resources, streamlining the resource selection process.
• The Resource Tracking Dashboard now displays whole numbers without decimals in the Number of Entities, Headcount, and Overallocated summary cards.
• Base Capacity Templates now update more efficiently on large datasets, improving overall performance.
  
  

Portfolio Plans

• Enhanced filtering capabilities with a new 'In' condition type for option set fields, providing more precise control over portfolio plan definitions with less complex filter combinations.
• New Export to Excel functionality in the Optimization page enhances data analysis capabilities, enabling offline analysis and reporting.
• The updated Value field dropdown selection eliminates input errors when configuring option-set filtering criteria, by restricting choices to valid options from the associated option-set.
• The plan data refresh mechanism now properly handles scenarios where entities have been removed from the system.
• OData views now correctly save Portfolio Value Score and Portfolio Yield Score scenario metric values for non-baseline scenarios.

Financials

• Enabled sub-category deletion even when working with unsaved changes in the financial grid.
• Improved user experience by ensuring financial sub-category ribbon controls remain accessible regardless of cell selection within the financial grid.
• Financial forms now open without 504 Gateway Timeout errors after performing bulk updates on financial structures across thousands of records.

Other

• Consolidated First Name and Last Name user attributes into a single Name attribute, enhancing flexibility in name formatting and display options beyond the standard “FirstName LastName" convention.
• The Entity Details web part no longer requires selection of a specific entity type, allowing the same fields forms to work across multiple entity types.
• Improved rich-text content creation with typography options including Large, Medium, and Small heading presets.
• Optimized full-screen rich-text field editing experience by repositioning the toolbar conveniently at the top of the editor window.
• Improved load times for complex entity forms with multiple web parts, delivering a more responsive interface for data-intensive workflows.
• Updated the entity lifecycle Submit ribbon button tooltip description for accuracy.
• Resolved timeout issues in the Reporting: Update People Picker Choices process during bulk operations.
• Improved usability in the Edit Entity Lifecycle Stage Transition dialog with comprehensive tooltips displaying complete field names.
• Resolved issue with users having to click twice when selecting hierarchical option set values in entity fields.
• Portfolio Hub view column header filters now correctly display hierarchical option set values.
• Rich-text fields now maintain proper cursor positioning when special characters (&, -, >) are included in the content.
• Portfolio Hub views search now returns accurate results when the search term contains commas.
• Excel exports from Portfolio Hub views now properly format number and currency columns with correct data types instead of plain text.
• People picker fields in OData views now correctly retain the email address appended to the name.
• The Manage Users administration page now loads faster.
• The Update Remote Resources job now runs successfully without the Collection was modified; enumeration operation might not execute error.
• Queue jobs now complete without timeouts when synchronizing snapshot information to reporting for very large datasets.
• OData views now handle HTML tags from rich-text fields properly.

Programmability

• The new UsersDetails property enables programmatic reading of usernames and email addresses from people picker field values, simplifying data retrieval.
