The April 2026 update to NH360 Portfolio Insights 7 introduces entity lifecycle approvals and personalized regional settings for end users, in addition to numerous fixes and other enhancements.

Let’s review each of these updates.

Entity lifecycle approvals

The new entity lifecycle approvals feature introduces a comprehensive approval management system that integrates seamlessly into entity workflows, providing organizations with configurable, transparent, and compliant approval processes.

• Configurable approval stages: Administrators can designate specific lifecycle stages as Approval stages. When an entity reaches such a stage, the system generates and assigns approval requests to one or more approvers as part of a configurable approval sequence.
• Flexible approval logic: A dedicated editor allows for the assembly of approval sequences, supporting sequential approval blocks, in a visual and flexible way.
• Enhanced usability and transparency: The dedicated Approvals page provides a single, user-friendly hub for managing all approval requests, with clear visibility into pending and completed actions.
• Robust audit and compliance: Every approval action, response, and comment is logged in the entity’s history and available for reporting, supporting compliance and audit requirements.
• Automated, contextual notifications: The system sends targeted, contextual notifications at each step, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.

Personalized regional settings

NH360 Portfolio Insights now reads each user’s browser language settings to determine how numeric, cost, and date fields are formatted throughout the application. Rather than relying on a single system-wide locale, the application automatically adapts to each user’s preferred language, ensuring that number separators, currency formats, and date representations appear in a familiar and intuitive way. This is particularly valuable for organizations operating across multiple countries and regions: A user working in Germany will see dates and numbers formatted in the German convention, while a colleague in the United States sees the same data presented in the American format, all without any configuration required. A broad range of locales is supported across Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific, with English (United States) applied as the default for any browser language not yet in the supported list.

Other improvements

This update includes various improvements and refinements that polish the product and improve the user experience.

• Improved the readability of read-only entity fields.
• On financial forms, the Categories drawer includes a new option to automatically select all categories with values.
• The default financial dimensions—Budget, Forecast, and Actual—can be renamed. Updated names are reflected throughout the application, including in financial grids and throughout Settings.
• Simplified the Entity Timeline for Roadmaps configuration on entity types, replacing the previous set of mixed options with three distinct modes.
• Users can no longer manage scenarios in Portfolio Analysis plans shared with them.
• Fixed an issue where only the first 300 resources were available for selection when adding or updating an assignment in Resources forms.
• Deleting a parent node in a hierarchical option set correctly removes all associated child nodes.
• The formula editor in the new Fields page in Settings supports nested IF statements.
• Single-value Hyperlink fields are now supported in more contexts, including in Relationships forms, Roadmaps, Portfolio Analysis plans, and Data Exchange.

As always, various other fixes have been applied to this release, improving the application's performance, security, and consistency.
