Updated October 13, 2025

The October 2025 update to NH360 Portfolio Insights 7 introduces the capability to save scores from sub-assessments, a powerful new report to track the progress of an individual metric, a lifecycle stage transition action to commit all milestones, and various other improvements and fixes.

Let's explore these new features.

Save sub-assessment scores

When configuring an assessment, administrators can include other assessments as a part of the larger assessment, establishing it as a sub-assessment. With this update, assessments configured to save their scores to entity fields also will do so when they are used as sub-assessments. This enables administrators to collect and process more detailed information from multi-part assessments while keeping the experience simple for users.

Individual metric report

The new Individual Metric Report shows a detailed breakdown of an organization's progress against a key metric defined in Strategy. Users can compare forecast and actual results against the target for the organization and see how each initiative contributes to the metric's progress. Users then can select any of those initiatives to see to which other metrics each initiative contributes.

This new report is a powerful tool for organizations looking to maximize the strategic impact of their portfolios of ongoing initiatives. The report can be deployed on its own page, or it can be accessed as a drill-through report from the Strategy Overview report.

Commit all milestones during lifecycle stage transitions

The lifecycle stage setting to commit all milestones has been upgraded to a stage transition action. This means that administrators can decide during which specific stage transition to commit the milestones. For example, since the "Committed" status and date of a milestone might be used to represent an agreement with project stakeholders, the project lifecycle could be configured to commit all milestones only when a project charter or change request has been fully approved.

This action now also resets the committed dates of previously committed milestones to match the plan, ensuring that the "Committed date" column represents a complete baseline of the available milestones.

Other improvements

This update includes various improvements and refinements that polish the product and improve the user experience.

  • Embedded reports now support dark mode.
  • Included Issues in Entity Status report.
  • Added conditional formatting for variances across the report catalog.
  • Disabled autocomplete (autofill) popovers in fields and grids across the product.
  • Added a message bar to communicate which financial, metric, or resource dimension is selected when the user has selected a single dimension to display from multiple available dimensions.
  • Added the capability to select ranges in bulk-edit grids using Shift + Click.
  • New icons for Strategy and Roadmaps in the navigation panel.
  • Added Entity ID to the Entities view in the OData API.
  • Fixed an issue whereby the "Manage views" button would not display in Portfolios after the expiration of a security token.

As always, various other fixes have been applied to this release, improving the application's performance, security, and consistency.
